Home last night from three days in Nashville, TV. I worked so much, though, all I saw was the inside of the studio, my hotel room, and one pancake place. I did get to cowrite a great song with Mark Schwahn, Dallas Green, Courtney Jaye, and Matthew Ryan. Look for it on the season finale of One Tree Hill. Also, it was a honor to work in the studio of the amazing Patti Griffin. Nashville, I owe you a few nights on the town… Soon I hope.

Thanks to everyone who came out last night. I played a solo set at Rockwood Music Hall in NYC, and it was awesome. There was a great vibe in the room, and I think it was one of my favorite solo shows in a long time!

It’s nice to have a day to unwind. I think traveling is infectious, though. I almost bought a ticket to Barcelona yesterday. Maybe I’ll go to San Francisco. I think I’ll start by just cleaning my poor neglected apartment, then decide…

So we got here last night after a harrowing experience with Delta. They really don’t like musicians and instruments. Lucky for us there was ONE music lover at the front desk who went above and beyond to make it happen. Thanks Chevon!!!

We’re rolling fast and loose, never knowing where we’re sleeping, playing, partying til it happens. I’ve wanted to be a part of this for 10 years, and i’m so excited to be here doing it right!
