Liner Notes
Michael Grubbs: "This album was a blast to make.  It was really fun picking the songs and finding my own voice in them.  My favorite track is definitely New Partner. I had never played the song before, I just had the chords and knew the melody. The first take ended up being our only take. As I sang it, the lyrics spoke to me on such a personal level that I totally just fell into it. I had just met Brad, the Engineer, and when I looked up after I finished he was like, "I think we should leave that one alone now".

For a period of 10 straight weeks Wakey!Wakey! recorded and released a brand new cover song every Wednesday. We have collected those cover songs on this limited edition hand-pressed run of 100 physical CDs. They come in recycled cardboard sleeves featuring a hand-made stamp on the cover and back.
