A few weeks ago Pearl and the Beard and Matt Singer performed at NYC’s The Living Room and the show was recorded for broadcast on Sirius/XM Radio. It was a wonderful evening and for all of those who couldn’t get into the room due to it being at capacity can listen to it starting May 23rd on XM Radio Channel 50 °°° Sirius Radio Channel 29

We’re very excited to announce that Pearl and the Beard and Matt Singer will be performing at NYC’s The Living Room April 23rd for their Sirius/XM Radio live broadcast series “From The Living Room To The Loft”. More about the series, including an impressive list of past participants, can be found here. Come cheer and be heard live on the radio! At midnight our friends of Team Genius will be rocking the stage.

We’re proud to share Side B of Matt Singer wonderful new “Live At The Warehouse” live album. Just like Side A, which surely by now you’ve downloaded, this is a free download, but with the option of donating to the great cause of fighting Cystic Fibrosis. Much more info, liner notes, credits and such on the album page, including the download link.

Side B features more of Matt Singer’s new work with seven previously unreleased tracks, including a countrified rendition of Berlin’s “Take My Breath Away” and the parody of (and homage to) Radiohead, “Exit Music (for a Girlfriend)”. An enormously entertaining live album and it’s free so what are you waiting for!

We’re beyond thrilled to present to you this amazing two-part Matt Singer live record. Chris Cubeta expertly captured what makes Matt’s live shows such an amazing and intimate experience. Side A features a mixture of fan-favorite classics, a few new tunes, and a cover. Side B is coming soon. Much more info, liner notes, credits and such on the album page, including the download link. Join us Saturday March 6th at NYC’s Living Room for the album release show at 10pm.

NOTE: This recording is dedicated to Matt’s family friend and a special, unusually brilliant person, Dominique “Nikki” Garcia, who died in September 2009 from causes related to Cystic Fibrosis, at the age of 12. For a limited time, the entire album has been made available for free download — listeners “Pay Only What You Want,” knowing that all sales will go directly to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the foremost organization dedicated to the cure for CF, and the foundation chosen by the Garcia Family to honor their daughter. You can donate an amount of your choice directly to the foundation HERE.

The wonderful Jocelyn of Pearl and the Beard created a flyer that becomes a pinwheel! Here are her instructions:
1. Gather scissors, a pencil, and a thumb tack.
2. Cut along all dotted lines.
3. Fold in four corners of paper so that dots meet X in center.
4. Push tumb tack through dots and X, then into eraser end of pencil.
5. Twirl pinwheel, shriek with glee.
6. Bring your pinwheel to the Gramercy Theatre on July 11th. 7. Repeat Step Five.”

Thank you! To our many friends, fans, and family members who made it out to the Bowery Ballroom on Tuesday… Thank you. The artists pulled out all the stops and put on a spectacular show, and we’re so proud of everyone. And we’re grateful to have such an enthusiastic and supportive community such as yourselves. It was a wonderful, memorable night, and it wouldn’t have been possible without all your continued support.
