Hey guys,

Just a quick note in response to all the twitter action lately! First of all thanks for helping us hit 30k fans on facebook, and 10k on twitter. Very exciting. Second of all, thanks for all the interest in my beard… haha. I was amazed at the hundreds of responses to my casual tweet about shaving. The overwhelming cry of “DON’T SHAVE!!!” has saved my beard… For now… There were also a few people requesting an online store for our international fans. We are so pleased and overwhelmed to find our fan base expanding so quickly, and are trying our best to keep up.

While it’s not realistic to set up multiple stores all over the world right now, we do ship all of our products internationally for really cheap (I’m told it’s usually about 2$ more than local shipping), and we now have a currency converter up on the store pages to make it easier to figure out your order.

We appreciate your feedback, so feel free to use our Twitter and Facebook Fan pages as sort of online comment boxes. We can’t always do what you ask, but the more we know, the more we can try!
All the best,
- Mike

While the boys and girls of Wakey!Wakey! are on the road for the Dance So Good Tour, we want to share with you the new “Dance So Good/Great Lake Love” single, going up on iTunes in a week or so! This is a full band version of Dance So Good, which was on the “Almost Everything I Wish I’d Said The Last Time I Saw You…” album in a solo rendition. It’s great to hear it with all the additional instruments and just like it’s performed live on tour. “Great Lake Love” is the first new song the band has recorded since the album, and we love it. Hope you do to!

Just one day ago Mike arrived safely back in Brooklyn after having a blast with all of you guys for two weeks of a solo tour, and here we are announcing a new FULL BAND tour coming up! Our friend Jenny Owen Youngs will be coming with us and she will knock your socks off! Speaking of the solo tour, check the bottom of this post for a beautiful multi-camera shot video of Mike’s perfomance of “Almost Everything…” at Jammin Java in Vienna (VA) just a few days ago, courtesy of our friends at Sum Of Change Productions.

We’re still working on a tour poster and a tour name (suggestions welcome!!), but here are the dates already! Our dearest Nicole is working on getting these up on the tour page with ticket buy links later today. Who’s coming?! Oh did we mention we’re coming to Canada for the first time?!
